Only 45 minutes tonight, because I stopped for a beer with a co-worker on the way home. Pulled the blue plastic off the inside, then scored the plastic on the outside and removed it around the holes. This was harder than it sounds, because I purchased someone's un-started kit. Result is that the plastic has been on there long enough that it resists being pulled off.
Lifelong pilot and Ham Radio operator. Was building a RV-9, which is a 2-place low-wing airplane -- at least, until I lost my medical. At that point I had to sell both the project and also my beloved 1947 Luscombe 8E,
At that point I decided to get back into Ham radio -- especially because I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and Ham Radio is accessible even when I am stuck on the couch, feeling like [expletive deleted].
